Health on the Net Foundation (HON) Certification
Addiction Center is excited to announce that we’ve been certified through the Health on the Net Foundation! We’ve worked hard from day one to ensure the quality and accuracy of our content, and we’re honored to be recognized by HON as a source of authority in the addiction space.
The HONcode certification is an ethical standard aimed at offering quality health information.

HON is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to ensure the quality of medical information on the web. HON exists to help both patient and medical professional by using the internet to facilitate quick dissemination of important medical news, data and resources. They have a list of ethical principles that every site they certify is carefully reviewed for and must comply with.
