Kelly Green, PhD

Kelly Green, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Holistic Restorative Coach, Organizational Climate and DEIBA Consultant, and Founder of The Center for Recovery and Reconnection, LLC. Dr. Green specializes in evidence-based addiction treatments, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational enhancement, and relationship-focused therapies. She writes the Addiction and Relationships blog for Psychology Today and has published an innovative self-help workbook, Relationships in Recovery: Repairing Damage and Building Healthy Connections While Overcoming Addiction. Dr. Green received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University, where she was a graduate fellow on an institutional training grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Boston Consortium, a joint program with the VA Boston Healthcare System, Harvard Medical School, and Boston University School of Medicine. She was a Clinical Fellow and Instructor at Harvard Medical School and a Staff Psychologist and Clinical Director of a dual-diagnosis treatment program in the VA Boston Healthcare System from 2009-2012. She is a tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, where she has won awards for her teaching and research excellence.
