About Sober Life San Diego

Sober Life Recovery Solutions is an Intensive Outpatient program for men and women. We have graffiti on the walls, a pool table, and an arcade system that makes our office feel more like a hangout spot than a clinic. Sober Life members choose to come early and stay late on group days because of the atmosphere.

The mission of Sober Life is to provide trusted and quality recovery solutions, easily accessible to everyone. We aim to provide a better experience for the member and their families by focusing more on the big picture and outcomes of our clients and less about the money. We offer a community for you to trudge the road to recovery with so that you can build a network of authentic relationships that will last a lifetime. We use this community as treatment; some of our groups are at Waterfront park and the Downtown Embarcadero. There will be no monotony week-to-week.

We have a different approach to treatment where we show that recovery can be more fun and fulfilling than what you ever thought possible. Our clinical program, led by CEO Dr. JM Evosevich, PhD, LMFT, CADC, BCBA, RN and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ryan Ley, M.D, is innovative. We wanted to set ourselves apart from traditional treatment centers so we decided to focus on emotional intelligence. We have specific and pre-designed experiential exercises that produce profound emotional responses and reactions which allow clients to break through limiting beliefs, old ideas and behaviors. We then inspire clients to go after their vision, dreams, purpose and set them up for long term success. However, we do not conform to any one treatment module. We utilize many approaches based off what we determine will work best for you. Reach out today for a free consultation 24/7.

Most private health plans do cover at least a portion of substance abuse treatment, and some cover it entirely. To learn your carrier’s benefit coverage for outpatient treatment services, call them or visit their website to find out what’s covered. Sober Life San Diego is in network with:

Testimonials

When one understands a problem is bigger than oneself, help is needed. I found that help at Sober Life. The care, the information, the insights... they helped me to save my own life. I can not tell you how hard it is to go through what I have, but I know it would have been impossible to do alone. What I found in the program was the strength, knowledge and courage to love myself again.

Sober life has some of the most caring, supportive, and intelligent employees I’ve ever met. They helped set me up for success, more than any other program I’ve been in. They helped me figure out who I was, and really get to the core of some of my issues. Thank you guys for everything you’ve done for me, I love y’all so much.

Sober life has definitely helped me get my life back on track. The staff and faculty members are great. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs help fighting their addictions.

I've been to 13 treatments and this place isn't like any of my previous ones. The amount of effort the staff put into the clients is astonishing. They didn't teach me how to deal with the chaos of my addiction but rather how to live though it. They helped me identify the core of my addiction. I have the most amount of sober time I've ever had from age 17 to 24 and I couldn't have done it with out them.

Sober Life was by far the best choice I could have made for myself. I have been to several places before but Sober Life made the greatest impact. Staff listened and cared and were always available to me. It's not a "phase" program either which is nice. I was expected to live like an adult when I was there at the program. To find my own way there to make my own money for food and pay rent. It's based on REAL LIFE. Thank God for programs like this.
