About Mayflower Detox
For individuals who have decided to leave their life of substance use behind in exchange for a sober life, detoxification (“detox”) is a vital first step. The detox process looks different for everyone and can differ dramatically depending on many factors. With that said, however, the end goal of every detox remains the same: to rid the body of drugs and alcohol and to begin a healthy, substance-free journey toward recovery. Fortunately, for residents of Northeast Massachusetts, Mayflower Detox is a brand new, state-of-the-art drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehab ready to help you toward sobriety.
At Mayflower, our cutting-edge $12 million facility was built in 2021 to answer one simple question: “What could the best detox in Massachusetts look like?” After reflecting on that question, we understood there was only one correct answer, and that was a detox center that understood the need to “catch up” with modern times. As we looked at other Massachusetts-based detox centers, we noticed they seemed “stuck in the past,” whether it be their treatment protocol or amenities. Because of this, when envisioning what Mayflower would look like, we strove to create not only the best detox center in Massachusetts but the country as well.
