At Utah Addiction Centers, our counselors specialize in identifying underlying mental health issues that affect an individual’s addictive behaviors. We treat the core issues, not just the symptoms of addiction. We also know that one-size-fits all approaches to recovery don’t work. We custom design a treatment program for each of our residents that are fundamental to life-long recovery and wellness.
Primary Care happens in the first 30 days of treatment. During this time residents stabilize, obtain psychological testing, develop awareness, and create a plan with our therapists.
Extended Care follows the primary care plan by continuing to address deep-seated problems. As residents conclude their extended care plan, they will finalize residential treatment and begin transitioning into aftercare.
Aftercare is fundamental in creating life-long recovery and wellness.
Individuals are encouraged to actively participate in at least 12 months of aftercare which includes; alumni support groups, group sessions for life, and individual therapy with their primary therapist for 12 months.
We believe family interaction and support is a key element in long-term healing; therefore, we embrace family visits and family involvement in our treatment plans. This involvement allows therapists to guide families through unresolved issues and help build stronger and more meaningful relationships. Utah Addiction Centers can help your family find hope and happiness again.
Utah Addiction Centers’ treatment plans are designed to produce long-term solutions to a broad range of mental health issues such as; depression, anxiety, trauma, drug and alcohol addictions, pornography and sexual addictions, and eating disorders.
