Where to begin? Have you ever wondered that? I'm sure you have. Well for me, it was Refine! I couldn't be happier with that. In fact, Refine is the reason I'm still alive and healthy. I went there almost a year ago as a scared, defiant, world hating person hell bent on destruction and drug use. Today, I've been sober since November 11th 2025. I give all thanks to EVERYONE at Refine Recovery for that! Without them and the absolute love and support they poured upon me, I would have been for surely dead. The owner, the counselors, and the doctor where the best people I've ever met. They genuinely care about you. If woke up today, you’re blessed, if you know you need help, you’re blessed, and if you’re finally deciding that you’re going, you’re blessed! I went to Refine Recovery after work when things were out of control and the team at this luxury detox centre Los Angeles really made me feel safe. Staff handled the alcohol detox phase expertly and I appreciated how they treated me like a person, not just a number.

I was lucky enough to go to Refine for my first detox/inpatient rehab experience. The staff is amazing; they really do care about you and will do their best to help you in any way they can. The house/yard is beautiful with a pool/hot tub. I had my own room with bathroom suite and tons of closet space and the best mattress I've ever slept on … Being comfortable is huge for me and shows their attention to our needs. My intake tech, Jake and my case manager Adrian were the most vital to my recovery process and helped me so much not only as a patient but also I. A more personal, human being addict who's struggling in life… You are NOT just a number to them. I would highly recommended Refine Recovery to loved ones!

With all due respect to the other treatment facilities, I can honestly say that it took Refine Recovery to change the trajectory and my way of thinking about life principles. I’m very grateful and thankful for the help they have provided for me, I recommend anyone that needs help with mental problems or anything to give them a call asap! I have to admit, I was very leery about starting my alcohol addiction treatment and recovery. I had spoken with Matt on the phone several times before I arrived and he helped make me feel more at ease. From the moment I met Greg at the airport, I knew I was on the right track. He was engaging in conversation and my nervousness started to fade away. Once I arrived at Refine Recovery, I felt comfortable and grateful I had made this decision. ALL of the staff, tech’s, case manager, therapists, doctor’s and the chef were outstanding and top-notch service. I gained many new friendships and we still stay in touch to this day. Refine Recovery has been a truly life-changing experience. When I first arrived, I believed I had everything under control and didn’t consider myself an alcoholic, but through the compassion and dedication of the founders, nursing staff, counselors, and tech team, I was able to see things more clearly and begin the real work of healing. They created a warm, supportive environment that felt like home, and guided me through treatment with DBT, CBT, and daily mindfulness practices that helped me feel grounded and present again. In just 27 days, I went from feeling broken to feeling whole. I’m especially grateful to Matt, Kourtney, Natasha, Tina, Lukan, Casey, Jack, Bina, Lola, John, Mac, and Greg (upstate 😉) for their incredible support and impact on my recovery.
