Northeast Addiction Treatment Center

About Northeast Addiction Treatment Center
It all started with several friends who grew up in the greater Boston community who witnessed a major drug epidemic creep into our hometown. Having to go through it ourselves and also witness family and friends struggle, we decided to take action. We all shared a common goal to create the best clinical, practical program to help others struggling with addiction become sober, successful and happy. With that goal Northeast Addictions Treatment Center (NEATC) was formed in July of 2016. We are a full-service substance abuse treatment agency in the Boston suburb of Quincy, Massachusetts.
Many come to Northeast Addictions feeling hopeless, having attended other drug/alcohol treatment centers prior, without success. The truth is many, for whatever reason, weren’t introduced to a solid, evidence-based solution. Our qualified medical and clinical staff understand how to combat addiction. That is why we are the Number One Rated Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Boston.
Our Mission is to provide the best continuum of care for men and women, as well as their families, who suffer from the horrors of addiction. NEATC will always strive to offer the highest quality of care not only in the Northeast region but for anyone across the United States. We will do this while priding ourselves on a foundation of integrity, transparency, and compassion.
Our elite professional backgrounds and mix of interests guarantee NEATC’s mission stays intact.
We are driven by long proven clinical practices that are designed to treat the individual from every angle. Our clinical team is well suited to treat all aspects of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. A smaller team allows us to stay focused and follow our strict quality regime
At Northeast Addictions Treatment Center, we aim to provide the best continuum of care for men, women, and the families who suffer from the horrors of addiction. We believe each individual case needs to be examined uniquely so we develop individualized care plans for each client we see.
We not only want our clients to be comfortable with the treatment they’re receiving but their families as well.
Individualized Therapy
Individual Therapy sessions can help family members better understand how to cope with a loved one’s addiction as well as strategize ways to build their life-long recovery goals.
Group Therapy
Group Therapy allows the patient to share their experiences with other people going through similar struggles. Guided by an addiction professional, the sessions can imbue participants with necessary skills for recovery, psycho-educational knowledge, a feeling of peer support, etc. depending on what the session necessitates.
Expressive Therapy
Northeast Addictions is proud to boast one of the most innovative and effective expressive therapy components in the world of treatment. Research points to the fact that we store trauma in our bodies and expressive therapy aims to release that trauma through dance, art, writing and movement.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is designed to change patterns of thinking or behaviors by focusing on the images, attitudes, images, and thoughts that a person endures. By educating them on how these thoughts and processes relate to their behaviors, we can develop new strategies to tackle and overcome them.
Didactic Therapy
Didactic Therapy fosters a classroom environment that emphasizes group participation as a means of encouraging recovery and community. These group sessions offer the patients a strong support network and educate them on the phenomenon of substance use disorder.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems Therapy deals with the personality system and shares many parallels with Alcoholics Anonymous. IFS show that the mind is made up of distinctive sub-personalities that each have their own unique points of view and qualities.
