About Pocono Mountain Recovery Center
As a residential facility in Northeastern Pennsylvania, we at the Pocono Mountain Recovery Center determine the treatment based off the clinical needs of each resident. We believe that chemical dependency is a disease and, in order to succeed, the individual must be committed to their recovery. Our staff will help those individuals with solid direction and aftercare planning to keep them on track in their ongoing recovery.
Though our comprehensive services and personalized care set us apart from other clinics, we know without a doubt that none of that would be possible without our dedicated staff of professionals. Our treatment, based upon the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and the 12-Steps, is customized to each resident. From the time an individual chooses Pocono Mountain Recovery Center, the professionals who work here will conduct a thorough assessment to identify the issues that have contributed to your addiction.
Choosing the Pocono Mountain Recovery Center means equipping yourself with the tools and knowledge to maintain long-term sobriety. Your treatment doesn’t stop at detox. Our comprehensive programs can carry you through every stage, gradually building your independence and strength. If you or someone you love need help and you don’t know where to start, try contacting us to see if we’re the right fit.

As someone who has worked in the recovery/healthcare field, I can honestly say that this program is outstanding. The small, serene campus is one of healing, love and support. The team is amazing and truly cares about each and every patient. They do an amazing job of meeting clients where they are at in their individual path. If you or a family member are looking for quality, accessible and affordable substance use and/or mental health treatment, this facility and team will embrace you/or your loved ones with open arms.
The staff really care. The facility is ahead of the game as far as recovery is concerned. From the CEO and Clinical Director all the way to House Keeping and Food Service, I was greeted with a warm smile and ultimate concern for my care and well being for each and every one of my 28 days at the facility. I loved it there, and I guess it’s weird to say that about a rehab but that’s the only way I can describe how this facility made me feel.
Such a great staff all around from Nurses, Techs, Counselors and Kitchen. I would highly recommend anyone who is struggling with drugs and alcohol reach out for HELP! Glad to say I am an Alumni!
My time spent there was wonderful. The staff was very caring and helpful and it really afforded me the opportunity for long-term sobriety. I am extremely grateful for the people that came into my life during my stay there and I believe my time spent there and the information I received there was an essential part of saving my life and giving me a life better than i could've imagined.
This place SAVED MY LIFE! I would go back and do it ALL AGAIN if I needed too! Best experience of my adult life caught in addition. It was my first recovery center and hope to be my last. If I ever had problems in the future or know someone who does I know where to ask for help! Thank you so MUCH PMRC for changing my life.
